    I had a copy of both Anri Arcane and Anri original. I ended up selling them both, but I honestly enjoyed Anri's original more. I don't think there's a single audiology voicebank I'd say is all that good in my opinion. Their tones are good, but just too noisy for my taste.

    I had both Anri and Jun but didn't like them. They both sound so flat and emotionless without the proper tuning (which I could not do). That was also my issue with Solaria.

    I was initially rather unimpressed with Itsuki, thinking she sounded like a higher version of Popy. However, now that I've used her, I found that she is probably one of the most interesting voicebanks on the SynthV engine.

    Well, if I remember correctly, it is free to develop voicebanks for but it's rather difficult. And even if it is paid, Mine Laru is already a commercial voicebank on a paid engine since his release on ace studio, so it's not like paying for development would be a new thing.

    I seem to be gaining at least sort of a presence on this site. I would like to say first to not treat what I say and the opinions I have as gospel. Just because I think moresampler sucks doesn't mean you have to as well. Sure, I have a lot of experience, but you should gain experience too and create your own take.

    My current working theory of why Macne style characters still get an abnormal amount of popularity has to do mainly with nostalgia for the golden age of vocal synthesis and the fact that you don't have to put that much effort into the creation of one (tripitch/multipitch cv+vv)

    The Macne series of characters has a group theme that calls back to the cryptonloids and a definite y2k aesthetic and the release of one under the label of a Macne is sure to bring at least some attention. The original Macnes are also notable for being rare cases of paid utau voicebanks and even having a vocaloid release.

    I've found that Hifisampler seems to try and bring vocals to a straight style vocal strength, bringing power to softer vocals and softening powerful ones. It might just be because of the AI.

    Arujine Sarasa is basically one of the few voicebanks that can rival Laru's quality for me, but isn't completely there. I like his deep and powerful voice, which pairs well with Laru's softer and higher one. I also think he's quite handsome looking
    I ship him a lot with Laru, although his creator has him canonically in a relationship with Waon Ikuto. The thing is that I hate Ikuto.

    Many people advise people to use the flags B0Y0F0 for utau usage, but I don't understand all that much. In particular, setting B to zero can make some voicebanks and resamplers sound off. Mainly I've noticed on softer voicebanks like Mine Laru Float.

    I typically use my voicebanks with no flags unless I'm using certain resamplers or am looking for a higher or lower sound.

    i hardly ever use flags in UTAU OR OpenUTAU (this is me saying that I agree).
    I use OpenUTAU mostly, and i don't like adding a million expressions just for it to sound off

    I myself am a fan of 2000s aesthetics and looks, but I feel like the better thing to wish for than a return to the 2000s would be a wish to return to the more visually pleasing and shiny style of old while maintaining the progress we have today.
