    I didn't record his "soft" append or two of the four pitches for Power cuz i'm lazy but I like how he sounds. I'm glad I updated him, and I like his Power and Normal vocal modes best. His whisper sounds a bit off imo.
    I forgot how horrendous Vocaloid English is lol
    Why does everyone sound like they're drowning?

    As someone who has worked with their voicebanks, the Cryptons english only really sound clear with some somewhat heavy adjustments. The worst of them have to be the Kagamines, as much as I love them.

    I feel like the Kagamine's Act 2 is the equivalent of an UTAU user not knowing how to OTO, and then putting a muffle filter on the voicebank in hopes it will make it smoother. Act 1 is surprisingly smooth, however both voicebanks sound good in my opinion, as well as people know how to use them properly.

    I like ACT 1 except that Len in V4 fluctuates with power a LOT. Rin's main problem is her S, tS, and dZ consonants, and the fact that the a i combos must have another vowel, like e, in the middle, or the combo is very choppy.
    I remember a heard a while ago that your first voicebank technically wasn't VCCV, because it was with a different voice provider. Do you know what your true first UTAU voicebank was?

    What format was the voicebank recorded in?
    SaKe
    SaKe
    Japanese CV. Average, I know.
    And it was Wilbur Leith who’s first VB was VCCV, I just lost the voicebank when I was clearing up files.

    Nice! My first voicebank was a "VCCV" English voicebank I recorded by just reading CZ's pronunciation guide, which I added gliding consonant CV and VC sounds to, alongside breath sounds. It sounded nice, but the recordings were incredibly nasally.

    If anybody knows how to create voicebank tables (like Mine Laru) on the UTAU wiki, please tell me. PIERO has a lot of voicebanks and I want a better way to organize them.

    Hello, Mine Laru's fandom wiki editor here.
    You could simply go to edit source and copy paste the table code, but it should be something like:
    {| class="sortable main-utau"
    |- class="vhead-p"
    ! {{vhead}}
    |-
    |{{vrow|Text}}
    |-
    |{{vrow|More Text}}
    |}

    (the |} means the end of the table)
    can you tell me more about the National Beta Club?

    i'd probably be a bit nervous flying that far

    I love airports but hate flying. Trains > Planes

    I like airports too. Flying can be kind of boring, but I've only been on a "long flight" once. It was 4 hours long.

    Trains? I've hardly ever been on them (airport trams and maybe once else, but other than that). From what i've heard, they're kinda slow?

    cool
    what is the national beta club like??? also, i live in the west coast and i doubt my mom would let me travel out of state
    SaKe

    The national and state Beta are the same. So, if you live in California, you’d participate in the California state competition and if you place 1-5 in anything then you get to compete in Nationals.
    I’ve never gone to the Nationals convention. Most of the academic stuff is done virtually. Some of my friends have gone and said it’s awesome, though.

    That's the same thing that happened to me. I genuinely don't know how to fix it :sad:

    I wish i could help :P
    Sake, i figured out the problem with your dvcfg file-it was encoded in UTF-8 when it should be ANSI. (AKA SHIFT-JIS)

    i had a boomer moment. i forgot how to use google drive :P
    i thought i could just download it, i didn't realize i needed to open the drive link in a new tab
    how could i do that
    i used to be super good with tech
    and after i turned ten or so, suddenly i'm washed up
    like if i TRIED when i was younger i could probably oto a VCV-E by hand
    it would take a few days, but i could probably do it
    AivisSpeech seems interesting. There's a ton of voicebanks for it I've never heard of, but they all sound very high quality.
    Radiohead has genuinely ruined music for me. I can't listen to anything else, spare Vocaloid songs and certain nerdcore bands.
    well, i'm bummed
    I don't have an nvidia gpu, nor the money for one (i think) so cuda won't work-i can't use RVC on my computer.
    Sigh.

    Isn’t there a non-CUDA version?

    Idk.
    Hi, how are you? I'm waiting for RVC to install (.bat files, which are taking forEVER)

    oh, cool
    Is this the RVC you used to train your models?
    Natsucchii
    Natsucchii
    I think i can figure it out :wink:
    but if i mess up, i will look at the docs.
    I'm gonna train a Kenji (old ass UTAU) RVC for 10,000 epochs if i can

    My tip is get a 2-4 minute dataset and train it up to 150 epochs, which should take about 30 minutes to an hour to finish. 10,000 is a bit much.

    okay!
    I swear if PIERO's English bank isn't finished by his birthday (August 7th) I will oto alll your ARPAsing voicebanks for free
