hi! i’m defoko’s rice :uhuhu: i’ve been going on utaforum more often nowadays for tips, so i decided to actually make an account on here
i really like defoko (if my username didnt make that obvious LOL-). i try making covers with utau during my freetime, since im broke and cant afford vocaloid...
I'm putting defoko's/utane uta's files through adobe podcast atm to make them sound more clear than they are now sinc ethey are really low quality
lemme know if you want an update to this later or even an example or cover using the voicebank
i used to make utau covers all the time when i was 11 or 12 and i lost interest in it
now i think it's a lot of fun again and i really enjoyed doing this one
tell me what you think!

my first ever UTAUxMMD cover! its been so long since i last made an MMD video, let alone a full MV! i hope youtube didnt /crush/ the quality even further because i think my editing program already did pretty bad....
edit: the video quality got ruined pretty bad, does anyone have tips on VLC...
So, I've recently downloaded UTAU and after reading a bit about how to use the software, I've decided to try covering a little bit of Nekobolo's Apriloop ft. Hatsune Miku. (such a good song I'm gonna cryyy)
BUT, although I think I've got half of the first line of the song matched (lyric is...
Hello, I am extremely new to UTAU so I've been following Yuunarii's tutorials on Youtube.
I've already downloaded the necessary plug-ins, such as the Roman to Kana converter so Defoko can - theoretically - read the text.
My computer can also read Japanese, so nothing is gibberish and Kana...
Okay so.. I'm.. VERY new to this.. Like... I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO GET ANYWHERE ON THIS SITE- I've gone on this sight a few times but it was when looking for reclists and crap... So.. You know how Defoko is the default bank that comes with UTAU???
She won't work...
Her voice samples are also...
i'm super nervous to share this, but also excited! this is my first original UTAU song (or first original song with any vocal synth for that matter!) it's based off my own experiences with trauma and mental illness. my style is heavily inspired by genres like breakcore and post-industrial music...
I currently won't be able to use japanese words. A good beginner (tuning wise) which will accept plain text? Example: these words here.
Thanks i'm about to download the stinkin thing
Hey, I’m Neko Box and I like making oringinal songs with Utau (even if I literally started two days ago). I’m not familiar with the terms but thanks to a series of tutorials I found on YouTuhe, I can make somewhat decent songs with the program.
Anyway, recently I’ve been working on a song...
does anyone have advice on how to better mix, and how to make defoko sound more clear? for future ref ;)
any other advice?
thank you for listening!

so, I was making a こちら、幸福安心委員会です cover when I found that Defoko would skip some syllables
(e.g: "ki taitte" intead of "kiki taitte" and "o ete agemasu" instead of "oshiete agemasu"
This also happened while I was making a World is Mine cover, Defoko skipped syllables
(e.g: "ichi n ohime...
