can I set up utau or open utau on a school chromebook otherwise how does one use utau synth

I got music this semester and figured I'd use utau but I don't want to do it as homework,I'm pretty sure my chromebook uses linux

You'll have to use OpenUTAU. Chromebooks run on ChromeOS, which is a locked-down distro of Linux (basically Fisher Price Linux), and neither UTAU nor UTAU-Synth are compatible with Linux. You could probably get UTAU running through a Wine wrapper if you know what you're doing, but OpenUTAU will run on Linux machines natively.

If your school has the Terminal or Github blocked, you won't be able to. My school has both blocked, but thankfully I got an outdated Chromebook for Christmas that I've been using. Edit: Also sorry I didn't realize how late I was oops:blink:
