Does Mac run normal UTAU well?

I've been meaning to lean into normal UTAU and less from OpenUTAU (since i feel like OU (openutau) has much more limitations and just doesnt feel like UTAU and its own programs.) And im gonna get it on my moms Mac (since i already have OpenUTAU on my dads pc and it has very bad storage) so i wanted to know if it can run well on Macbook?

Yes but thats not what im asking, i dont want any "open source" version of UTAU, i want completely normal UTAU, im asking if it runs well on Mac and if it CAN run on Mac.

alright, thanks for clarifying. the only way to make it work correctly on mac is by using wineskin, which theres a tutorial for here

UTAU-Synth isn't open source, you're that's only OpenUtau. While there's nothing wrong with open source (it just means multiple people can contribute freely instead of it being one guy doing everything), UTAU-Synth is quite literally the Mac version of UTAU. It was made by the person who originally made UTAU because UTAU doesn't run on mac.

but i dont want any different version of UTAU, i want normal UTAU, working normally, also no offenses to whoever designed the mac version of it but it just looks bad and more confusing then UTAU itself.

Its the same person who designed normal UTAU... if you are that attached to normal UTAU, then you can't really use mac without significant constraints or paying money to get something like parallels.

you'll probably run into problems. wine often breaks functions of windows apps when running on mac

You’d have to install “Play on Mac” and then install the .exe file there. I tried that though and UTAU seems pretty laggy from what I have saw. Play on Mac works really well though for other stuff however.
