Frequency generating problems?

DragonflySpectrum

UTAU is having some problems generating the frequency for one of my sounds, so whenever I render it, it sounds like a dying cat or something instead of what the recording actually is.
I've tried editing it on the frequency map editor, but to no avail
is there any way I can fix this? Recording new sounds isn't an option because it was a donated voicebank :P

Maybe a filter flag would help cut the high tones and even it out...

You could try resampling using a different resampler. You can change it by going to tools, then options then path. And change the resampler. You can check out the picture for a clearer view.

Some resamplers just hate some voicebanks, and why they do will most likely forever remain a mystery.

But I agree with Zarsla, try new resamplers. Some of them such as TIPS and Fresamp don't use FRQ files, so they will make a different kind of frequency file, which might help!

You might've tried this already, but another option could be right-clicking the sample in the Voice Configurations box, and selecting "Initialize frequency table", then click "Okay". This will regenerate the frq map and sometimes it will fix samples like that.
