got OpenUtau to play but there's no audio

So, I made an OpenUtau cover with the Dependency thing, but it doesn't have audio for some reason, like both the original track and my VB don't have audio when I set it to the right phenomonizer (pretty sure)

I'm not sure what you mean by 'dependency'? But if an audio file isn't playing, it sounds like an issue with the output settings.
Go to Tools > Preferences > Playback and check that the Playback Device is set to something you can hear.
