I really, really love the colors in that piece! Was the background pattern a brush of some sort? Just curious, it looks really cool, too.

It's an oval gradient using a toner and a layer mask in clip art studio, there's a setting for it or you can make it using a layer mask and an airbrush

That's really cool! I use CLIP STUDIO PAINT for my art as well, but I have no experience at all with layer masks or anything similar.
