Awe man I have such a love-hate relationship with Eleanora's past!
Ever since her Vocatone/Vocatune parody came out a couple years ago, I cannot stand to listen to that cover.
I ruined the song so badly, I can't even listen to the original.
Here's what I'm talking about:
1. Why on earth did I think the twin-loop hair was cool? Yes it was original, but there was a reason it hadn't been done before.
2. CV English with no otos, recorded on a $5 mic, while I was in my "high pitched is better" phase. Enough said...
But let my UTAU's past at least provide you with some hope that utathings do get better!
I'm almost done otoing a Tetra-pitched English CV-VC bank based around the original list I made those 2 years ago.
Her Vocatone-ness is being toned back a bit going forward, but it's still there to some degree.
I don't think there's anything wrong in remembering your roots and what inspired you to begin with.
But with enough retrying and reinventing, you can always build upon whatever your UTAU used to be.
