Is DeepVocal dead?

Hi, does anyone know what happened to Boxstar, the developer of DeepVocal? I really like that their software uses binarized data as voicebanks and condensation technology, which makes it very similar to vocaloid. However, there haven't been any posts on Boxstar's social networks for years, and the new version's interface looks incredibly outdated. Does anybody know what happened to the developer?

I am not sure what happened to the developer honestly but Deepvocal isn’t really used that often anymore in the most parts. People have moved on to DiffSinger or Synthesizer V for example, but Deepvocal isn’t really dead in my opinion, it just needs to build up popularity again somehow.

I know that makes sense... At least I have some knowledge of making diffsinger's databases and training models, so I won't be bored. I was just worried that the DeepVocal's interface will not be updated and the program will not have the promised support for phoneme input...

Oh yeah that makes sense. Unfortunately though the app hasn’t been updated since it first came out.

Not really, there have been more than 4 updates...the problem is that development seems to have ended with the 2nd generation 2.1.0

I believe that boxstar may have been recruited as a developer for a different vocalsynth, so that's why this project is no longer maintained.
