is my sample too short?

my utau stops singing before the note block ends. like it cuts off before the length which ive inputted on the block. i swear my samples are way longer than the lengths i put. so idk how this is happening.

you need to fit your voicebank to the ust

ctrl+A ctrl+E
make sure the properties look like the second image

whilst still selected press reset, then p2p3

try playing the audio afterwards

then it's the syllable coming after "wo" that's chipping away from the note
I could oto your voicebank to fix it if you'd like
the problem is preutterance value is too big

What viran said. You have a whole bunch of silence at the beginning of the oto, which is cutting off the note before it. With CV VBs, you generally don't want much if any silence at the beginning of the oto (depending on the type of consonant)

ah i'd love that. i have a tripitch vb and i tried using a program to oto it manually, didnt turn out well HAHAH
