Sinsy Discussion

What do you think of Sinsy? I've tried using it, but I don't entirely understand the parameters or if harmonies work in it :/

Sinsy is a very strange thing to say the least.

It has its fair share of issues but I'd say I like it a lot~

I managed to install Sinsy on my PC and I could make it to sing Japanese, but It lacks documentation how to add other languages. Creating a voicebank seems to be much harder than for UTAU, but maybe I can use one of the MAGE voices for English.

I think you might be getting Sinsy confused with Cadencii. Sinsy is a web synthesizer, it can't be installed on computers, while Cadencii is a program that allows for use of UTAU voices with the VOCALOID rendering engine.

Here is a video of a Christmas song in English that makes use of Sinsy, which now has an English option:



There still seems to be a Japanese accent, but it does handle English.

How do you even use Sinsy?? I'm so confused! ;^;

It can be installed on your local computer, but it doesn't have a GUI. I've installed Ryuichi Yamamoto's fork of sinsy on my Debian system.
