UTAU auto snapping notes to the beat, making ust/midi out of sync

utau works really well with importing midis, but usually when the midis notes go out of the rhythm (well, let's say the midi i imported uses 4/4, but some notes aren't snapped to the rhythm) the notes auto snap, and it goes out of sync. how would i prevent this from happening? (i'm kind of a scaredy cat with the software and i don't really play with the settings/tools.)

Set the quantize to smaller notes, or turn it off.
