I'm running win7, what I did is I opened my oto file, yes an oto. I clicked open configuration or something like that in the top menu bar on the left. I went out of the voice bank folder, and I saw settings.int with a lock on it. Cut it, paste it into documents. Change it, then move it back to the utau folder. This is the only time you'd have to do this.

You can get the code for your theme by going to your Utau installation directory and opening setting.ini:

The color scheme is defined by all the lines starting with COLOR, as shown here (selected in white). Before you do ANYTHING, make SURE that you have MADE A BACKUP OF SETTING.INI! This way, if you screw anything up, you can revert to your backup. Skipping this step could get you in a massive mess. Once you have created your BACKUP, shut down Utau. Then, open the file. you may then either remove the current theme code and replace it with a theme posted here, or you can just edit the hex codes directly if you know what you're doing. When you're done, save your changes, close the text editor, then start Utau.

I don't know if this is supposed to happen, but if I use UTAU colors and change the interface, I can't use any plugins? I only can once I reset the settings.ini. Is there a way around this? I really dislike the default color scheme.

edit - nevermind, I fixed it.

I've recently found you can change MMD's skin by playing with color.txt in its Data folder. Should have figured this, but bringing it up for anyone else who wasn't aware.
