UTAU sounds weird (Not OpenUTAU)

You'll need to make a lot more manual adjustments in Classic UTAU. If you're editing the notes manually or using autoCVVC, make sure to crossfade the envelopes using the buttons in the top right. If you're using presamp, crossfade is handled automatically.
