What I did wrong with my vcv voicebank :(

I'm so over it right now I this is hard, I spent over an hour making voice samples and then I got to tune it it just.. DIDNT!! And I dont know what I have done wrong, I think maybe its the file names? Well, it tuned only the one of these and there's still, lots, LOTS of these files, I dont know what to do now, someone PLEASE help me I'm not very smart. (Also, I used the reclist from the internet like, from this forum)

What do you mean by tuning? Do you mean using it in utau? If so, what happens when you try?

I mean by putting it in setParam, I did try to use it in Utau though and it did absolutely no noise, its like, the only one noise it can do is tsu

I only put the reclist in, but I dont really know a lot about all these files I only did the CV voicebanks before. And as I said only one of the noises it can actually do and nothing more than that one noise

Setparam is picky about reclists; it will generate params for JP Kana reclists but not romaji reclists (aka yours). The way to bypass this is to alias (label) the voice samples in JP Kana beforehand and then load the voicebank in setparam. Since u used a romaji reclist, do NOT try to auto generate VCV params in setparam (it'll overwrite all of the aliases and make them blank)

You can either alias by hand, or use another program to do it for you.

The way I do it is:
- drag and drop the vb folder into moresampler
- pick romaji(eng) as input > only hiragana as output > create VCV oto only (not CVVC) > don't pick double alias > leave suffix as blank > generate the oto file
- close moresampler

- open setparam
- pick your vb folder
- choose "load" instead of "auto generate"
- proceed to "tune" to your heart's content

No but srs, if the aliases (labels) aren't in Japanese, then setparam ain't gonna like it. If it's bugging ya that bad, then you can always drop a download link and someone here will figure it out for you.

I got to this while I was waiting and I tried to fix it myself and I succeeded now it sees the noises after I got it into the setparam and then tuned them by hand in setParam, and then I got the different error like "Utau cant find the noise" and then I noticed that there's no oremo comment txt, maybe its because of this, but I dont know how to do this type of txt myself

I have no idea. Its the only thing that my vcv doesnt have and it doesnt work, at all, it does these things and maybe the lack of the comment is the problem? I dont know. I'm not really smart. I just want it to make sound and it doesn't

Thank you so much I'm so not smart I didnt even think that writing a couple of letters in Utau wont work as test, I tested it with vcv stuff and it works I'm so happy
