How come my Utau doesn't sing?

How come my UTAU doesn't sing? I used Teto with the song daughter of evil, but no sound comes out.

Is this your first time working with UTAU?
Do you have your computer on Japanese locale?
Do you have the resampler.dll checked in the option area?
Do you have the proper tools selected in the settings?

Make sure you have all these done and out of the way before you start to plug and play the ust.

teto wont work if you don't have Japanese Locale, teto ALSO won't work if you changed your Locale AFTER you intalled UTAU, reinstall UTAU and download Teto again, it should work for you

The english patch is downloadable as a folder you copy and paste into the utau folder.

If you're having trouble with Teto, and can't find the Locale settings- look for a romaji utau instead of Teto.

And incase nobody else has said, if the UST is CV then you'll need a CV UTAU, and vise-versa with a VCV UTAU.

A VCV note could look like " a あ " and a CV note would just be " a "

I thought the latest version of UTAU can install in English automatically. Either it's my faulty memory or that's what it did for me.
