I can't find/create a voicebank for my OC...

Hi! I'm new to UtaForum but not really new to UTAU. I created account recently cuz I REALLY need help from someone who knows something about UTAU.

Soo, I wanna make covers with my OC but I can't cuz she doesn't have a proper voicebank yet. I mean she has a Jinriki voicebank but I don't like it cuz it's not ok and doesn't sound good either. I've already tried to find voicebanks but with respect to creators' permissions and I've already asked a ton of people if they could've give me permission but no one accepted it yet. I've also tried to seek help on other platforms but didn't get a proper feedback... I also tried to make post with offer collabing but everyone ignored... I can't record voicebank on my own cause my voice can't fit her. I would've done that for a long time ago if my voice would've sound more mature than it does. I don't want my OC to sound like a teen
Even tho it may seem like I'm burnt out, I still wanna do this. I'm desperate. But I need someone's advice who knows UTAU well. Am I doing something wrong? :')

Its good to think about what you can offer them in return. Some people may be happy to donate their voice but usually you would either 1) trade for it, 2) pay money to a voice actor, even a hobbyist you might find here or, 3) collaborate and provide character details and designs that make the voicer happy to say they took part, then participate in co-ownership (this usually has you as the UTAU's maintainer and manager, and you would do any technical work, while the voicer is more hands off and the benefit is that they don't have to learn the technical stuff to have an UTAU; usually THEIR OC is the UTAU in this arrangement...).

By asking someone to voice your OC you can't do the more appealing option to attract a voicer without paying, which is "3", since the voicer has no input on the character or details, and because those details are so specific/important to you. That's fine, but leaves you with likely needing to make some kind of trade in order to convince someone. I assume you're younger, so money is likely not an option. Putting an ad out with what you might be able to trade may help. Can you make voicebanks? Maybe offer to configure one, or fix one. Are you an artist? Offer cover art or voicebank art. Can you edit videos? Compose music? Tune? Any skill is worth offering.

Also, keep in mind that when you ask someone if you can use their UTAU as your OC's voice it kind of sounds like "Can I make your OC my OC?", even though I know that's not what you mean when reading this post. In your messages, I don't know if you clarified if you have any intention of disclosing that it's not actually your UTAU or maybe listing the voicebank used each time, but while it's not offensive it is a request I also would have trouble permitting without a lot more information.

FWIW, voices are reasonably flexible. I assume your voice hasn't dropped or just isn't very deep, but you can always do your best to mimic a singer you like, and then use gender flags to deepen it a little bit. They're actually more effective at making a vocal sound a little more mature than they are making them sound like the opposite "gender".

1. I've multiple times been saying that I can provide cover (not even only UTAU, it's also VOCALOID, music box, FNF and etc cuz I can do any kind of cover), or a request art. Perhaps, it's just the platforms or my rushing or just the fact that I'm not popular enough-
But I guess I will mention OTO, too, in further posts. Even tho I'm not really good at it, but why not to try?

2. Same here... I mean, yes, I told some people (can't remember how much but I told them but I gotta confess not everyone) that I will 100% leave credits of them in description AND mention that voicebank doesn't belong to me. Some of ppl were accepting, some ignored and some declined. And tho I can deny the fact that some ppl could've misunderstood my message or even get hurted, but it's their choice.

3. I'll try if that will be possible, but in case if doesn't work I'll try to seek for another voicebanks further.
