Meaning of the components in UST downloads?

Hi all,
I am interested in making a cover by downloading a premade UST. I noticed USTs come with various files, often titled as "Main", "Harm", "Harmony 1", "Harmony 2", and I was wondering what these files are? Are they are different parts of the song? How should they be put together in the final mixing of the song? I'm new to this and struggled to find an answer and I want to learn more. Thank you!

Main is the core vocal- this is the most important part of the song.
Harm/Harmony (also called cho sometimes in Japanese USTs) are the harmonizing vocals for the main vocal. They make it sound fuller and more professional.
Hope this answers your question!

If you listen to a lot of songs, be they vocal synth or human sung, you'll typically hear that at some points, such as during the chorus, you'd hear not one but multiple voices singing at the same time. That is essentially what those are for.
You can hear it in heavy usage in these covers of mine:

For mixing these parts, I'd recommend making them quieter than the main vocal in order to make sure that the main part is the most audible and that it doesn't get overpowered, or making them equal in volume for a very loud and overpowering texture, as can be heard well in the Rolling Girl cover I sent.
Occasionally, harmony usts could be off time, and you may have to correct them, but usually they should be correct out of the box.
