Huh, pleasently surprised a bit. I really didn't expect much, and when the demo started she just sounded like every other female Vocaloid 3 these days (actually worse because her clarity was like an UTAU's). But when the chorus came to and she sang in longer phrases I was glad to hear her voice have a thick accent kind of thing? Reminds me of Flower and Lily but higher which accounts for the slighlty foggy pronunciation. Makes her slighly unique though so I'm all for it.

She won't top my favorite's list unless I see some stellar work using her, but for once I'm not going "ugh" at a new V3. I didn't either at Flower, let's hope this continues.

When I first listened to the demo I kinda liked it I mean she's cute and the voice is cute...but Rana's voice also sounded so familiar for some reason as if I had heard that exact voice before somewhere and I couldn't put my finger on it cause I was going through the lists of all the female Vocaloids and what they sounded like in my head and some came close but not exactly until I realized I wasn't looking for a Vocaloid I was looking for Satou Sasara.

She sounds like a higher pitched/younger version of Satou to me. And I am 100% positive the untuned-ness of the demo does not help at all(which I guess to be fair if it was like super tuned people may buy her only to be disappointed but still).

That being said I like the voice(I like Satou's voice too) but it doesn't wow me. Not "ugh" but an "Eh...okay."

I was expecting a more tomboy-ish voice to be honest. I don't really like her voice at the moment, because she sounds a lot like Rin. Maybe if someone makes a good song with her, my opinion will change.

I didn't realize the demo was out. First line in all I could hear was Rin with a pinch of Miku. And Lapis I guess? I don't know but I do kinda like her though.

That's a little awful that they GEN'd her first ever reveal. Really awful to me, bad honesty; if they'd done it down the line that'd be okay to show off her vocal variety but to do it right off the bat in a song that lacks tuning anyways (and has all the effort in the MMD and PV) is just awful to me. Her actual voice is less unique.

And that Sasara point out is really spot on - I still think a bit of Lily's thickness also (and plus Sasara is still clearer somehow).

Unless she gets a well tuned demo (Like Galaco's two halves did which made my opinion of her go way up), she will definetly be tossed in the "meh" pile of V3 banks.

BUT ANYWAY we should have expected this. She has fricken rainbows as her design and pink hair (I know there's like no original colour scheme for Vocaloid any more). But if I could get her when she's released, I would make her sing Leia by Luka. Just to test, y'know? Not as a demo by the way. J
