subscript out of range when tuning manually

when I was trying to tune a cover I was going to make, I was tuning it with the control point movements then when I accidently did something, It say subscript out of range.
I can't save the file, or I can't do anything else to it. I just added a control point and then accidently moved it to the same control point as the other one
the one that i was going to to is selected as you can see in the middle right.

ok nevermind I found a way to save it, sorry. how do I delete this thread?

PLEASE tell me how you were able to save it!! I made an account on here just so i could find a fix for this problem and it wont go away!

Edit: I'm stupid, just figured it out. had to spam the x and ctrl+s until it saved.
