Wav files are kanji instead of hiragana

I am making my own voicebank but the problem is, the wav files‘ names have been changed to kanji. They look just fine on Google Drive (I recorded them on my iPad then put it there) but when I download them on my PC, the file names are changed to kanji letters even though I clearly named them hiragana ones.

your locale needs to be set to japanese with the "Use UTF-8 for unknown characters" turned OFF

Oh yeah, the default voice’s wav files stay hiragana yet mines aren’t so I find it weird, but I’ll try to see if it works.

I went to Region in Control Panel to change the locale. It was already in Japanese and the UTF-8 was already off.

OK so I turned it on and then it made the app’s language funky. So I turned it off again, NOW everything’s fixed. So the solution wasn’t turning it on, it was turning it on and then off again.

Now I experienced another problem. When I type lyrics, the hiragana become question marks. I saw a YouTube short that tells me to do the same thing I just did to fix it, but when I do it, it doesn’t work.I also tried reinstalling it and it doesn’t work.

do you have a hiragana keyboard? Maybe get a test UST to try it out.
