Wow...I never posted on this? thought i had huh

Like a number of people, I have the Yeti and bought it about a year and a half ago. Though I got it for about $120 instead of it's usual $140-150 - I recommend the Nessie ($100) to people now if the Yeti isn't on sale and they want the same HQ specs.

Let me just say people, if UTAU is a major hobby you seriously enjoy and maybe you like a bit of singing too and maybe you like recording yourself talking for tutorials or skype or such and maybe you're going into any type of technology/media major in college - it's a GREAT investment. This is a high quality mic that will last me many years and I'm really glad I purchased it.

But it's not worth it if UTAU's a passing thing for you/you don't care too much. Unless you're rich of course.

*done praising the Yeti*

oh gosh i forgot about those times

Me too, before I bought the Yeti (which I did because the Headphone mic was breaking).

But some headphone mics aren't too bad. I recall that mine was some no-brand $25 one and I recorded a few banks on it (Kaisho VCV, Kimusume 1.0, not going to bring up older banks), and ignoring how bad the pronunciation was the quality was actually extremely good in my opinion for the price.

but getting a better mic is definetly an upgrade hah
