that is, assuming its even a VOCALOID. The tweet on its own has nothing to indicate that this is about a VOCALOID, though iirc zero-g had mentioned they had new VOCALOIDs in the works previously.

idk, more info will be revealed in their newsletter and the announcement has 20 or so days until it will be made. I'm sure it's vocaloid, because they've been teasing "important vocaloid information" on twitter for the past few days

I agree that this is a very likely possibility, but I really hope that it does not turn out to be like that. Honestly what we need from an new English vocaloid at this point is not a rehash of every bank before it and something voiced by a pro.

That being said, I'm still happy that Zero-G is still developing banks and hopefully their next one is a good one.

Someone on their Facebook said the picture is of Clara Sorace, the woman who donated her voice to the ETHERA library. (Idk if it they're right or not, she changed her hair color if it is) Apparently there's some sort of hint on the Zero-G homepage somewhere, but I haven't found it yet.

It's just a count down to the release date(?) I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Knowing Zero-G's work (may it be on most of their Vocaloids, their vocals packs or the instruments ones) I'm really hyped and think the quality will be alright <3 (At least I truly hope it will still so)

I think it's important to mention again like WinterdrivE pointed out that they haven't confirmed or denied that it's a Vocaloid at this point. For all we know it could be a sample pack or something else that's not what we're expecting/hoping for.

But I guess we'll find out in 20 days or so

I am excited to hear about a new english vocaloid from Zero-G. THough I really have no idea what type of voice it will be since they already did a pop like vocal last time and Zero-G seems to try to do themes.

I really agree with this sentiment. Every single time that Zero-G says they're doing something new, all of us jump to the conclusion that it's going to be a vocaloid.

The reason people assume it's a vocaloid is the vocaloid hints in the tweets

I've browsed their tweets and found nothing that hinted at a Vocaloid, only a hint towards Ethera. I think people jumped to conclusions, Zero-g did not reply to Vocaloid questions except to debunk them, only once to give a neutral -shrug- gif.

They mentioned Vocaloid in an unrelated twitter thread to someone else, before Coming Soon girl was announced. It would be unfair to say this hinted at Coming Soon girl being a Vocaloid when the two statements were unconnected.

I think people are blaming Zero-G for getting our hopes up, when in reality we were projecting our Vocaloid obsessions onto a general software developer, haha.
