I've been dealing with low self esteem and art block for the passed week and spontaneously started this cover art the other night after Yoz made the cover. I've been listening to this song a lot lately and working on this project made me feel a lot better. I wanted to practice my Movie Maker skills again too, but I think I ended up going a bit overboard. I referenced the pose from the original artwork for Iimo then added in AI myself with no outside help. I also designed a "boy" version of the outfit for AI to wear based on the original one, but all I really did was give him ruffly shorts and some boots to match the top. The background is a combination of different things from the original PV and I used screen tones in the shading of their hair just for fun. I put a lot of work into this project and I am very proud of how it came out.
This art and video were inspired by けい (Kei) and お菊 (Okiku) who worked on the original PV.
