If it's not done before GISHWHES week in August, I will actually be really mad at myself and my procrastination. :/
I guess either you're about to upload everything or you must be really mad. (*Crosses fingers and hopes for a 2015 VCCV release.* I also hope everything has been well for you.)

I hope VCCV will come out soon, but no rush if it doesn't. The more time spent, the better the end result, hopefully.

soooo this is a bit late bit I don't think Cz posted this here at any point basically this is a beta VCCV English multipitch (METRO) and a VCCV English soft append (RURAL) of my UTAU Juni Ginkuro that me and Cz worked on for an original song that Nostraightanswer (Kenji :shades: conposed. It used one of the most recent versions of the VCCV list. The bank and UST were configured by Cz (with additional help from Zurui) and the song itself was tuned and mixed by Nostraightanswer (Kenji :shades:. The banks themselves are one 6 pitch normal bank (A#2, C3, E3, A3, D4, A#4) and one 4 pitch soft vocal bank (C3, E3, A3, A#4)

here is the full version of the song

here are the raw vocals of the METRO VCCV multipitch (without any pitchbend or tuning)

and here are the raw vocals of the RURAL VCCV multipitch (without any pitchbends or tuning)

this bank has a lot of recording and otos to set so it won't be released for quite sometime (also not until the release of Czloid and the public VCCV reclist)

HOLY MOLY 6 PITCHES???? And it's fully done other than otos???? YOU ARE CRAZY MAN
CRAZY
Though I do wonder if the metallic tone is the bank itself or TIPS? I know Cz is encouraging TIPS a lot but from working with a bank in VCCV, have you tried other resamplers and how did they feel/sound? I know TIPS probably helps with clarity but the fuzzyness it causes is a big drawback.

And also a question I hope I can ask, I know Cz has been working on making the recordings very set in tempo and length. I can't tell if it's TIPS or not again, but it feels like UTAU is really stretching anything that's a moderately long note. Are the recordings really short or is it TIPS yet again?

although its like for an american accent if a brit uses it and pronounces it naturally will it sound british what im trying to say is that although it is american targeted can it support other accents (especially british //shot)

@CarrotJuice I imagine, much like the cvvc list, it will support other accents. I find that there are some sounds I don't use unless I'm singing (such as the tap), but yeah - it's much like how anyone can use a Japanese reclist.

What you're hearing is probably mostly TIPS. I've tried a bunch of other resamplers, but I always seem to end up back at TIPS for it's clarity. xD
The recordings are short though. Anything past a quarter note is going to be stretched. There are stationary vowels recorded at half notes that can help fix this, and you can just repeat them as needed if you really don't want stretching glitches. (I had a lot more stationary vowels I wanted to include in this initial list, but I left them out for simplicity's sake. I'll release them later if seems important enough.)

Yup! The pronunciation tutorials are focused on American accents, but as long as you pronounce the word given for each vowel how you would normally pronounce that word, the accent you want should sound pretty normal. And the list is made to be edited really easily so you can take out vowels and consonants that you don't want/need. But I will be releasing lists for other English accents later. n__n

(I didn't get a chance to do a final sync on the vocals after Kenji tuned them, so I still hear a lot of cross-fading errors that I wanted to fix. ;; But if you guys aren't noticing them... SHH they aren't even theeeree~~ LOL)

I'm honestly antsy waiting for the release of the VCCV banks and reclist! If only I had a new mic. Hopefully I'll get one around the time of the release. I need this sooooooo bad. ;u;

Thanks for the replies Cz! Maybe mics and recording tone matter too. I'm really hoping my bank will sound good with regular old Resampler to avoid the TIPS fuzziness haha. And quarter note length notes with longer stationary vowels sounds fantastic! Seems to solve my worries. But you make it sound like not all vowels have a stationary version, any reason why?
